The Wenatchee Valley is lucky to have two ski resorts to call their own.  Stevens Pass or Mission Ridge or a healthy dose of each, our home mountains are pretty rad.  Mission Ridge has the distinction of receiving a colder, continental snowpack and when it’s good, it’s on!  A quick twelve minute drive from town and it’s easy to see why people working in Wenatchee (cough cough) always seem to (cough) come down with something on a powder day.

‘”Powder Thursdays” at Mission Ridge have a cult-like following. People arrange their work schedules to make sure they are getting face shots instead of sitting in board meetings. And if they can’t rearrange their work schedules, they call in sick and likely have to dodge their bosses who are ripping powder too.
