Here is what we plan again for 2012!
Lake Chelan is most known for its beautiful glacier lake, but the area is also filled with incredible winter activities. Pick your poison – we’ve got it! Choose from miles of cross-country trails surrounded by stunning scenery, powdery white snowmobile trails, wickedly fast tubing hills, or the family-friendly ski hill. Come join us over President’s Weekend and experience the “other side” of Lake Chelan.
For the cross country skier, come up to Echo Ridge for The Sweetest Ride. This may be the only day of the year when chocolate indulgence is totally guilt-free! Chocoholics cross country ski or snowshoe the trails to enjoy chocolate prepared every way imaginable. When it’s time to get out of the cold, continue your chocolate journey at many of the local Lake Chelan wineries for their Red Wine & Chocolate events.
For the beer connoisseur, you won't want to miss The Wooden Nickel - a beer tasting of many unique craft beers from the Northwest. If you have a home brew you'd like to show off, make sure to enter it in to our first home beer competition.
And if you're looking for a fun day on the slopes (or tubing hill), this is the weekend to experience Echo Valley - Lake Chelan's family friendly ski-hill. Acres of downhill and snowboard trails and a 5-lane tubing hill. There will be music and food and a guaranteed good time!
