SPANISH CLASSES

Location: Osborn Elementary

Date/Time: Wednesdays 3:00-4:00pm Feb. 1st – June 13th

Fee: $60 per/month, $25 materials fee

Student Requirements: Grades 3-5,

Spanish & More! Certified teacher Annette Mueller will be offering an after school fee based Spanish class to Osborn Elementary students. This fun, interactive class will introduce students to Spanish conversation, culture, and art. Students will learn Spanish naturally through a variety of activities including vocabulary acquisition, listening and speaking activities, games, hands on projects, and much more. Class space is limited and students will be accepted on a first come first served basis. Regular Attendance

Class Size: Must maintain a minimum of 11 students, maximum 16 students

Teacher Background: Annette Mueller has a MA in Education, a BA in Spanish & a BA in Elementary Education. Prior to moving to Wenatchee, Mrs. Mueller has lived, studied, and taught in Mexico, Spain and Bolivia. She was the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship to research bilingual education in Bolivia. She has a passion for bilingual education and for giving young students the opportunity to acquire a second language. Mrs. Mueller has taught bilingual education in the Wenatchee School District and has taught private children’s Spanish classes for the past seven years. Her goals are to make learning a language as fun and natural as possible, and she seeks creative ways to make learning relevant and immediately applicable to student’s daily lives.
